After a few off days and some impatient waiting by the guys, the Billabong Pro at J-Bay, South Africa is on today. While its not going off, the competition coordinators…and the riders…are having to be creative to get in a good contest in the 11 day window they have. They are talking if Jeffrey’s Bay isn’t providing the wave quality they need, they may move up to the Boneyard.

The bigger names are to come. The huge pull of this contest, Occy vs. Curren, happens tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. local time (midnight Lowcountry time – yikes!) And the commentary? Done by Kelly Slater. Take a nap and stay up tonight.
